Export Market Development Grants

With 1 in 4 Australian jobs relying on trade, the Albanese Labor Government is focused on generating new and diversified trade and investment opportunities for Australian businesses.

We have done this by stabilising our relationship with China, strengthening our trading relations with India and South-East Asia, and working towards a free trade agreement with the United Arab Emirates.

Working hand in hand with Australian businesses, we are committed to ensuring our exporters are in the best position to make the most of our trading opportunities and sell their goods or services on the global stage.

The next step in this work is delivering the necessary reforms to the Export Market Development Grant program to ensure Australian exporters can continue to grow, market and promote their product to the world.

The revised guidelines published by Minister Farrell will mean larger grants for exporters with incentives for businesses to diversify the markets they export to, helping to develop better ties with key markets across the world.

Applications are open now and close in November.
