Expressions of Interest for the 2025 Swan Stronger Communities Program Round 9 are now open.

Thank you to all the groups that have submitted Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for Round 9 of the Swan Stronger Communities Programme.

After reviewing the guidelines provided by the Department, we have extended the deadline for grant applications to Tuesday, 4 March 2025 to ensure applicants have adequate time to align their projects with eligibility requirements.

When completing your EOI form, please carefully review Section 5.1 of the Grant Opportunity Guidelines. To maximise your chances of success, ensure your project aligns with the list of eligible activities outlined in this section.

Please note: Grants do not cover ongoing expenses, land purchases, utility payments, display exhibitions, feasibility studies, or investigations.

Grants Available

Eligible organisations can apply for grants ranging from $2,500 to $20,000.

Eligibility

To apply, you must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be one of the following entities:

• Be an eligible incorporated entity such as a not-for-profit organisation, local government or the trustee of a community asset;
• Eligible project expenditure should be GST exclusive.

Before applying, please ensure your organisation is located within the existing Swan electorate (2022 boundaries) and review the program guidelines for detailed eligibility requirements, specifically Section 5.1.

Projects funded by the Stronger Communities Grant must be completed by 31 December 2025.
