Saving Native Species (Priority Species) Grants

Applications are now open for Saving Native Species (Priority Species) Grants!
Australia is one of the most bio-diverse countries in the world. Our wildlife is iconic, and under threat.
The Albanese Labor Government has launched the Saving Native Species (Priority Species) Grants to help recover populations of our 110 Priority Species listed in our Threatened Species Action Plan.
Grants between $20,000 and $500,000 are available for projects that include:
- Protecting or restoring habitats
- Supporting the control of feral and invasive species
- Protecting plant species by seed collection, growing new plants and translocation
- Implementing fire management strategies
